Investment Projects Management

Investment Projects Management

When a fund or a group of investors accumulates a controlling or influential share package of a corporation, or a share of business, whether through portfolio investment, share consolidation by arbitration agreement or within a venture project, the investor runs into the need to manage the investment project. The aim of an investment project manager is to enhance the value of business for its subsequent resale. The task is accomplished by way of forming official management bodies of the business – Supervisory Board and Auditing Committee, as well as setting up informal personal connections. Corporate management implements its mission by:

  • designating candidates and appointing members of the Board;
  • formulating terms and conditions of employment contracts with the members of the Board so as to provide them with incentives to work for the benefit of the shareholders, thereby enhancing the value of the business;
  • defining the company’s strategies, annual, quarter or specific-target assignments; modifying the company’s regulations and terms of the employment contracts to encourage fulfillment of the assignments;
  • controlling the efficiency of the funds’ allocation and rational use of the assets;
  • organization of legal protection and economic safety of the business;
  • maintaining contacts in the business circles to identify potential strategic investors – purchasers of the business.
